About Us

Sabrina Hellman has spent the last ten years fulfilling a passion for meeting the needs of women and families during pregnancy and childbirth. Brooklyn-born and -bred, and a mom herself, Sabrina has worked with families as a doula, childbirth educator and certified nurse-midwife. A belief that childbirth has the potential for being glorious and empowering, when women are informed and honor their needs, is what guides her practice.
Holly White is a certified nurse midwife doing prenatal care and deliveries at Bellevue Hospital in the Birth Center and on Labor and Delivery. In practice for over eight years, she has delivered more than 400 babies.
Amy Alpern has been active in women’s health for almost 20 years. A certified nurse midwife and women’s health nurse practitioner, she currently specializes in women’s health care for HIV+ women at Downstate Medical Center. She and her partner are the mothers of 2 energetic little boys.

PA030089 Sabrina Hellman began working with women in pregnancy and childbirth as a labor doula in 1998.  She is now a Certified Nurse Midwife and mom to one spirited little boy.  Sabrina is bona fide born and bred Brooklynite and thinks it is a wonderful place to grow up and to be a parent!
